I wrote a very long journal last night, all about what I'm classing as my first "real" cosplay convention experience (the first was Milton Keyes but it was generally crap and there wasn’t much there) any way long story short my computer is on the same set of plugs as my lizard tanks and I forgot to turn the timer off so just as I came to click submit all my power shut down YAY HAPPY TIMES

Was NOT best pleased

But yea I had a great time with the steam punk crew at memorabilia Birmingham. There are plenty of pictures bagging around DA at the moment I'm sure. Everyone was really nice and there were hugs aplenty. Met some really fun people and have added some of you on DA (if I haven’t added you then no offence intended I've just been hopeless and forgotten your username, feel free to add me or drop me a note)

I will admit I was a little worried about the whole walking around in cosplay thing at the train station but once I was doing it I felt ok. I think it gave me the confidence boost that I needed to make me consider wearing my Kurumu cosplay which as a girl who only wears jeans a 12 inch skirt is a frightening prospect.


As always my ultimate cosplay is Elektra. I have it pretty much ready now; all I’m waiting for is the body shape to go with it. I’ve managed to lose 2 stone and mainly just need to tone myself up but for me the day I cosplay as Elektra is the day I’m happy with my body shape (haha what a load of bull, like anyone ever is )



Well I’m off as ppl at work are arriving. Laters to my hoards of fans
